A HUGE 2048 CHALLENGE

2048 8x8 takes the familiar number-merging puzzle to a much larger board. With 64 cells, the game gives you plenty of space to arrange tiles and prepare combinations. After every move, two new tiles appear, creating a faster flow as the board develops. The goal remains to build the 2048 tile. Take on the huge 8x8 board and test your merging skills!

MOVING TILES ACROSS THE 8X8 GRID

In 2048 8x8, all numbered tiles slide in the direction you choose. You use the arrow keys or WASD to move. The merging mechanics remain unchanged: two tiles with the same value touch during a move, and they merge into one tile with twice the value. After every move, two new tiles are added to empty cells, so the board gradually becomes more active. The larger 64-cell grid gives you extra space to arrange tiles, but you still need to plan ahead and keep useful areas open. Your goal is to keep combining matching numbers and work toward creating the 2048 tile and beyond, such as 16384, 32768, or 65536.

2048 8x8 vs. Other Board Sizes

Different 2048 boards offer different experiences. Smaller grids create tighter spaces and require quick decisions, while the 8x8 version provides 64 cells for more flexible movement. Compared with the standard 4x4 board, 2048 8x8 feels more open but introduces two new tiles after each move.
