Bringing a fresh twist on the classic 2048 formula, 2048 Fibonacci replaces powers of two with the famous Fibonacci sequence. This creates a more strategic number-merging challenge where you have to combine matching tiles, build increasingly larger values, and plan every move to keep the board clear. What is the Fibonacci Sequence?

The Fibonacci sequence is a series of numbers: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, … Only two blocks containing two adjacent numbers in the sequence can be combined (the only exception being 1+1=2). For example:

• Merge cell number 1 and cell number 2 → create cell number 3.
• Merge cell number 5 and cell number 8 → create cell number 13.

HOW TO PLAY

Every move in 2048 Fibonacci brings you closer to the next number in the famous sequence. You need to think ahead, merge wisely, and create larger values without filling the board.

• Slide the tiles: Use the arrow keys or swipe to move all tiles in one direction.
• Merge matching numbers: Combine two identical Fibonacci numbers to create the next value in the sequence.
• Keep the board open: Every move adds a new tile, so careful planning is the key to reaching the highest number.

End Game Conditions

• Victory: Gameplay ends when you successfully merge and unlock tile number 144 (or higher levels like 2584 if playing on a wide grid).
• Game Over: If all 16 squares on the 4x4 grid are filled and no two adjacent squares satisfy the Fibonacci rule, the board is frozen and you fail.
